About Me

The Woman behind shequel

I've been there.

I'm Toni. I went through my own divorce more than a decade ago, earned my Master's in Mental Health Counseling, and later had the opportunity to facilitate online divorce support groups. Those experiences stayed with me—and eventually became Shequel.

I created Shequel for the woman navigating separation or divorce who could use something in the hours between the appointments, conversations, paperwork, and big decisions. And especially for the woman who may want support before she's ready to reach out for it.

How will the subscription work?

Shequel is a 12-month support experience created for women navigating separation and divorce. It brings support directly to her through her inbox, her mailbox, or both—on her own time and without another place she has to be.

Do I have to be at a certain point in my divorce?

No. You might be considering separation, newly separated, already in the divorce process, or somewhere in between. Wherever you are when you find Shequel, that's where Here begins.

Can I give Shequel as a gift?

Yes. Shequel can be gifted to a woman navigating separation or divorce—a way to send support when you care about her but aren't quite sure what to say or do.

When does Shequel launch?

Is Shequel therapy?

No. Shequel is not therapy, crisis support, or a substitute for professional care. It's designed to offer an additional layer of support alongside therapy, support groups, friends, family, or other resources she may choose. If you are in crisis. please reach out to 988.
